A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse / ODP to join the Cardiac Theatre Leadership Team within the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. Golden Jubilee University National Hospital has traditionally supported NHS Scotland to deliver Heart and Lung services, both locally and nationally, and to provide high volume elective surgery. This includes the Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service, Scottish Advanced Heart Failure Service and the National Organ Retrieval Service.

If you are successful in applying for this post, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the development and performance of a pioneering team of dynamic individuals responsible for the delivery of perioperative care required for a wide range of complex Cardiac surgical procedures, as well as Adult Congenital Procedures and all that the Heart Failure Service entails e.g. Heart Transplant, Mechanical Support Programme and any complicated Cardiology/extraction procedures.

We currently have 20 theatres, 4 of which are dedicated to Cardiac surgery.

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse / ODP with the drive, ambition and leadership capabilities who will work alongside the SCN to support and lead our dynamic Cardiac Scrub team.
