Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a catering assistant based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
Hours:
Post 1 - 1700-2045/0 7 on 7 off Post 2 – 1700-2045/0 7 on 7 off
These posts are offered on a permanent basis.
What you will do:
You will work as part of the Catering Production & Services Team, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, service, wash-up cleaning duties relating to the provision of catering services to Patients, Staff, Visitors and for functions

Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:
This post is predominantly based on our patient evening meal service and involves the serving of all patient meals, the cleaning of the serving area/equipment and the cleaning of all patient meal trolleys and trays, crockery etc.
Desirable for current Food Hygiene Certificate, or essential to complete with the first 3 months of employment.
All preferred candidates must attend a Corporate Induction program and undertake Mandatory and Statutory training.
