Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a stores person within our main kitchen based at University Hospital Crosshouse
Hours:
0630-1300/30 Monday to Friday This post is offered on a permanent basis.
What you will do:
The main kitchen at University Hospital Crosshouse provides more than 1800 patient prepared and cooked meals every day including therapeutic diets to patients, as well as a meal service to staff and general public. In addition, we also provide a catering service to two in-house cafés. Your duties would include but not be limited to the ordering of stock, ingredient control measures that comply with the current recipes, receipting of goods received notes, processing these to the admin team in a timely manner, good stock rotation practices, general catering duties, maintaining high standards of hygiene, recording and monitoring data for H.A.C.C.P and Environmental Health.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:
Desirable for current Food Hygiene Certificate, or essential to complete with the first 3 months of employment. All preferred candidates must attend a Corporate Induction program and undertake Mandatory and Statutory training.
