Job summary
Worcestershire Early Intervention in Psychosis Service is looking for a dynamic and client centred OT, Social Worker, or Nurse to join our friendly team. We work with people aged 14- 65 who have experienced First Episode of Psychosis (FEP), as well as young people who have been identified as having an At-Risk Mental State (ARMS).

The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) adopts an assertive outreach approach and provides individualised, comprehensive, evidence-based interventions to optimise recovery, prevent relapse and help individuals and their families to cope with their experiences. We aim to improve social, physical, psychological and vocational functioning and reduce the short- and long-term impact of psychosis in line with the EIP Care Pathway.
The post is based at Studdert Kennedy House in Worcester with significant community outreach.
This is a full time post.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will hold care coordinator responsibility for an allocated caseload of people who have experienced FEP or have been identified as having an At-Risk Mental State within the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. You will work as part of an MDT, working alongside other mental health professionals. The role will include specialist assessment, planning and intervention, including psychoeducation and family work, alongside generic care coordination to promote wellbeing, recovery and empowering person-centred practice. The post holder will participate in the development, delivery and evaluation of Worcestershire EIP, and service interventions, whilst working closely with colleagues in their team as well other agencies.
You will have access to individual clinical, caseload and management supervision and appraisals.
We cover a large geographical area therefore there is a requirement of the post holder to be able to independently travel throughout the locality.
