Main duties of the job

The Care Team Leader role at Agincare's Waterloo care home is designed for experienced care professionals who are ready to take the next step in their career. The role offers £14.36 per hour with additional benefits like a refer-a-friend scheme up to £1000, ongoing career development with training funded up to QCF Level 5, and a Blue Light discount package. The role demands leading by example to provide high-quality care, support for residents with personal care, encouragement of independence and wellbeing, planning meaningful activities and outings, and overseeing medication administration. You will also engage with families and healthcare professionals, and support and guide the care team, especially in the absence of senior management. With a focus on creating a warm, welcoming environment, the role requires at least two years of social care experience and a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care. Availability to work 42 hours per week, including alternate weekends, is essential.
