We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a client based in Surrey with complex health needs.

About the Role

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £16.61 to £18.24

This position involves part time hours per week including days, waking nights and sleeping nighs.

Main duties of the job

Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant

• Cough assist
• Suction
• Non-invasive ventilation
• Lung volume recruitment
• Nebuliser administration
• Gastrostomy (includes balloon water changes) and feed / fluid administration
• Skin integrity
• Bespoke moving & handling
• Medication administration
• Personal care
• Social activities

What We’re Looking For

To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:

• A caring and empathetic nature
• Good communication skills
• A genuine desire to support others
• Basic IT and record-keeping skills
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous
• Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
