We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client based in Northwich.

Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training.

This job involves 36 hours per week including (insert shift pattern) day, waking nights and attracts a competitive rate of pay … (after completion of training).

Main duties of the job

Person-centred care is very important to us here at Your Life Your Way and you will have the opportunity to meet our client during the recruitment process.

The job role is to support our client within the home and in the community. The client requires 1 1 support in the home and 2 1 support in the community.

The client requires support with epilepsy and moving and handling.

The client enjoys arts and crafts, colouring, jigsaws, sewing, and knitting, which help me feel calm and relaxed, watching TV, going out for tea or a meal, clothes shopping, and getting out into the community.

About the Role

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £13.25 per hour.

Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant

• Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
• Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
• Administering medication when required

What We’re Looking For

To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:

• A caring and empathetic nature
• Good communication skills
• A genuine desire to support others
• Basic IT and record-keeping skills
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous
• Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
