We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner (Days) to join our team and play an important role in delivering exceptional person-centred care.

As a Care Practitioner, you will support residents with their daily lives, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing. Working as part of a caring and professional team, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to creating a positive and enriching home environment.

Main duties of the job

As a Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents during the day. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Personalized Support: Assisting residents with personal care routines, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, while respecting their dignity and independence.
  • Meal Assistance: Supporting residents during meal times, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
  • Engagement and Activities: Encouraging residents to participate in hobbies, social events, and daily activities to enrich their lives.
  • Health Monitoring: Observing and recording any changes in residents health or behavior and promptly reporting concerns to senior staff.
  • Environmental Standards: Maintaining cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere in residents rooms and communal areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to ensure all residents receive consistent, high-quality care.
  • Ongoing Learning: Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
