About the role
As our Commissioning General Manager, you will lead the home through commissioning, opening and ongoing operation.
You'll shape the culture, build a high-performing team, and establish the home as a trusted part of the local community. Combining strong leadership with commercial awareness and a passion for quality care, you'll ensure residents, families and colleagues experience excellence from day one.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the successful commissioning, launch and performance of the home, delivering outstanding care and resident experiences.
- Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing team, creating a positive and supportive culture.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and local stakeholders to drive reputation and occupancy.
- Take ownership of financial, operational and regulatory performance, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice across all areas of the home.
- Work closely with Avery's support teams to establish the home as a leading care community.
- Lead the home beyond commissioning, ensuring continued growth, operational excellence and the delivery of exceptional resident experiences as the service matures.
