Cardiology Nurse | Cardiac Outpatients | Manchester | Band 5 | Full Time | Permanent

Spire Manchester are now looking for a Cardiac Nurse to join their warm and friendly team

Spire Manchester Hospital is a £65m state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering you the opportunity to work across a wide variety of specialisms. The Manchester team currently consists of over 800 colleagues, and we are rapidly expanding as we increase the scope of services we provide across our experienced and dynamic teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • The pre-assessment of patients for cardiac surgery (CABG and Valve surgery) and cardiac intervention, including angiogram / PCI and ablation
  • Responsible for running cardiology clinics and supporting consultants during cardiac diagnostic testing such as dobutamine stress echo / bike stress echo.
  • Care of patients in a Heart failure clinic with advice and titration of medications
  • Planning and smooth running of the cardiology clinics in the absence of the cardiac lead nurse
  • Supporting with Stress ECGs, Stress Echocardiograms

Who we're looking for:

  • RGN with a minimum of 4 years exp in an acute setting.
  • Phlebotomy
  • ECG / rhythm recognition and advantage though training will be provided.
  • ALS / ILS provider
