Job overview

We are looking for motivated individuals who are able to learn quickly and have an appetite to prove themselves in a challenging role. The team are supportive and full training will be given but due to the short term nature of these roles we are looking for team members who will work hard to learn the role quickly and are keen to make a difference. This is an ideal role for someone who'd like to start work in the NHS and would like to gain experience. You will need excellent language skills and communication skills.

Main duties of the job

Tracking patients through their cancer pathway by querying Trust databases and entering accurate data into the cancer tracking database in real time. Attendance at meetings between the cancer team and tumour site services to highlight delays in patients pathway. The post holders will need to learn and adhere to the guidance around the way patients are tracked. These are busy roles. Uploading of documentation to the Trust cerner EPR system. Support to the cancer pathways co-ordinators to include answering emails, requesting imaging and pathology from other Trusts and general admin.
