Main duties of the job
To deliver comprehensive business coordination, analytical, and administrative support to the Finance function, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of services.
- Providing high-level coordination and administrative support to the Deputy Director of Finance.
- Undertaking detailed analysis and interpretation of complex financial and non-financial data, producing accurate and timely reports to support decision-making.
- Supporting and contributing to management accounting, financial accounting, and transaction processing activities as required.
- Planning, coordinating, and supporting projects, including developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring delivery against agreed timelines.
- Coordinating the production and quality assurance of reports for internal and external stakeholders, including Board-level documentation.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the management of the Finance team’s workload, helping to prioritise tasks and ensure key deadlines and objectives are met.
