The role requires excellent communication, clinical assessment, organisational, and leadership skills, alongside a commitment to continuous professional development and delivering community-based healthcare services in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Main duties of the job
- To participate as a member of the Bladder and Bowel Health Team and be accountable for ensuring that standards outlined in the Norfolk wide strategy for continence are maintained. To provide a high standard of care to patients within their own homes, care homes, the travelling community and in clinics, by promoting continence, managing incontinence, and promoting their independence and respecting their privacy and that of their families. Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Work as a member of the integrated Bladder and Bowel Health Service, in conjunction with other professionals, to promote a holistic model of care in line with national best practice.
- Promotion of continence, first level surveillance and assessment of vulnerable adults.
- To work with all health care professionals, and statutory/non statutory agencies to provide a seamless, integrated service to our service users.
