Job overview
We are seeking a talented BI Developer to join our Systems and Integration Development team. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting BI systems and reporting tools, delivering high-quality clinical and management information to end users across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist knowledge in BI development to a range of end users.
- Develop and implement robust systems for clinical and management reporting.
- Offer training and support on new features and enhancements.
- Investigate and develop new reporting methods using the latest programming and analytical methodologies.
- Build effective relationships with clinicians, managers, and IT colleagues.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Trust policies.

Experience
Essential
- Minimum of one year’s experience working in an Information Development role or environment analysing complex data using a variety of sources/information systems
- Ability to set up clinical and non clinical information systems to collect and query/analyse complex patient level data for reporting and audit purposes
- Specialist I.T. skills and expert user in software and programming tools for developments such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, TFS.
Desirable
- Understanding of hospital systems such as Patient Administration Systems
- Experience of data analysis and interpretation in a clinical environment
- Familiar with Insource AHDE and Data Academy.
Qualifications
Essential
- Educated to degree standard or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Qualification in Computer Programming

- Evidence of ongoing personal development
