PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES
Pharmacy Procurement OfficeR – BAND 4
Salary scale: £31,537 - £34,303 PER ANNUM
Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals to join the Pharmacy Procurement team in the Pharmacy Department, Ninewells Hospital.
The successful applicant will be key to ensuring continuity of medicines supply for NHS Tayside patients. The role includes medicines sourcing, ordering and contributing to financial governance though the supervision of timely and accurate invoice reconciliation. The post holder must have excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate coding, identification and selection of medicines for purchasing and invoicing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and reliable individual who can undertake these duties efficiently within a busy department, integrating well with the rest of the team.
The ability to use your initiative and reflect NHS Tayside values is essential.
The role is both interesting and challenging, contributing to an essential service for NHS Tayside patients on a daily basis.
You will work alongside professionals within the Pharmacy team and will also need to liaise with a range of stakeholders including internal customers and external suppliers.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
