Job overview
Are you looking for a role that can offer flexibility? We are looking to recruit staff to the nurse bank temporary staffing team for nurses with a particular interest in adult community nursing. This is an opportunity to provide nursing care to housebound patients so they can remain at home receiving the care they need. The role includes working with patients, families, carers, and other health and care partners to work collaboratively to provide personalised care.
- The post holder will practice within a multidisciplinary team and provide care to patients within their own home.
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their care needs under the supervision of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Practitioners and District Nurses.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of holistic nursing care whilst promoting and maintaining health education and independence.
- The post holder will take responsibility for their own actions when delivering clinical care; maintaining competency and skill in line with role requirement.
Previous experience working in an inner-city borough visiting people in their own homes would be desirable but is not essential and will be based on the transferable skills individuals may bring. If you have a passion for providing high quality care, then we would like to hear from you.
