An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Clinical Practice Hand Therapist (either Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) to join our welcoming, knowledgeable, and innovative team at St Thomas’s Hospital. We are looking for a driven, autonomous and forward-thinking individual with genuine enthusiasm for the role to cover adhoc clinical work, helping us to cover gaps in our service as they arise. Main duties of the job
In Advanced Clinical Practice you will be integral to the closed hand trauma pathway working within orthopaedic and plastic hand clinics. The post-holder will be expected to work with a high degree of personal and professional autonomy, exercising sound judgement to meet the demands of the role with integrity. You will bring leadership and expertise to ensure patients receive consistently excellent care. You will work closely with the MDT and fellow Advanced Clinical Practitioners to drive service innovation. Please read the attached job description and person specification

- Previous band 8 experience in hand therapy
- Published/presented research/QI/audit in field of hand therapy
Qualifications
Essential
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registration
- Masters level or equivalent training in specialist area or evidence of significant practical experience, research or publication in specialist area
Desirable
- Accredited Hand therapist
- Recognised ACP therapist with either accredited ACP masters degree or through e-portfolio route
