Main duties of the job

The Band 7 Family Nurse role involves delivering the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) programme and healthy child programme to vulnerable young women expecting their first baby in disadvantaged families. The position requires developing therapeutic relationships and working within complex family situations to achieve programme outcomes. The post holders will also receive high-level training and are expected to work independently and as part of a team. Essential requirements include being a qualified Family Nurse or a Registered Nurse active on the NMC register, two years of community experience, and a valid UK driver's license. This specialist role is based at St Martins Hospital - Kempthorne House BA2 5RP, with interviews scheduled for 14th August.

The essentials needed for this role:

• You will be a qualified Family Nurse or willing to embark on specialist training (this will include residential training).
• You must be a Registered Nurse active on the NMC register.
• You must have two years experience of working in the community with hard-to-reach families.
• You must hold a valid UK drivers license.
• A willingness to learn, take on additional training and travel across localities
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team
