Job summary

<p>We have two fantastic opportunities for passionate and motivated <strong>Registered Nurses / Childrens Nurses</strong> to join our <strong>Children in Care (CiC) Team</strong> across Lancashire.</p><p>This is a rewarding role where youll play a vital part in improving outcomes for some of the most vulnerable children and young peopleensuring their health needs are recognised, understood and met.</p><p>We have 2 part-time (30 hours per week) opportunities available.</p><p>This is a fixed-term role until 30th September 2026.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>As a Children in Care Nurse, youll work within Lancashire Health Visiting and School Nursing services, delivering high-quality, child-centred care.</p><p>Your key focus will be to:</p><ul><li>Undertake <strong>statutory health assessments</strong> for children aged 017</li><li>Identify health needs and ensure appropriate support plans are in place</li><li>Act as a <strong>health advocate</strong> for children and young people in care</li><li>Work collaboratively with social workers and multi-agency partners</li><li>Contribute to coordinated, holistic care planning</li></ul><p>Youll be supported by experienced colleagues and a Named Nurse, while al
