Job summary

Cardiac Physiology is a friendly and supportive team that requires a Cardiac Rhythm Device management (CRM) Invasive Healthcare Science Support worker to assist with the day to day administration for the department and support the clinical service. The role will include contact with patients and their relatives, GP's, external and internal medical staff, administration and clerical staff. This is a fixed term, part time post of 30 hours per week Monday to Friday for 12 months.

Booking appointments

Arranging meetings

Calling patients and providing support

Answering incoming calls

Reception duties

Data entry

Chaperoning

CRM remote monitor education, maintenance and clinical risk stratification

Ensuring CRM equipment is logged and kept to a high standard.

Providing a high quality, patient focused support.

Ensuring the electronic medical records (EMR) and the devices database, Fysicon are up to date.

To coordinate with the booking office, multi discipline team (MDT) coordinators and research staff to ensure all booking processes are accurate and as streamlined as possible.
