An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Osteoporosis and Fracture Liaison Service as an Assistant Medical Secretary for 25 hours per week, on a permanent basis.
This is a busy role supporting the Osteoporosis and Fracture Liaison clinical team, therefore we are looking for an individual who will be highly motivated to take on a new challenge, and in return this post will offer excellent development opportunities.
The successful candidate will require excellent organisational and communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently, using their own initiative and be willing to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the service. The individual must also have the ability to work well under pressure and have the desire to provide a first class service for patients and the clinical teams.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job Creating and processing correspondence, clinic letters, medical reports, etc using AI software, digital dictation and transcribe ensuring workload is processed in chronological order, prioritised, produced in a timely manner and to an agreed standard. To be responsible for regular and timely updating of the National Fracture Liaison Service Database working in conjunction with the Clinical Team. Answering departmental phone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Assisting the Medical Secretaries in daily duties.
