The post holder will assist in the bed management of the mental health beds across the inpatient service.
The post holder will maintain efficient administration services and information support to the clinical teams within Operational Services.
This is a complex multifunctional administration role, utilising information from clinical systems that will require the ability to prioritise, multi task, negotiate, build and maintain relationships with the wider MDT and other stakeholders, both in the NHS and private sector. The successful applicant will need to be assertive, when required to ensure that the admission process runs smoothly as possible to prevent any delay for the patient.
The post holder must be confident and adaptable in their approach to different individuals and situations, adapting their approach as necessary to resolve any issues by using tact, diplomacy and compassion.
The ability to work in a busy environment, in complex and challenging situations and build personal resilience will be key in this role.
Post holder can be based at Longreach House or Bodmin Hospital site. To be discussed at interview.

Essential
- NVQ 3 in care or any comparative Health and Social care qualification or administration type ( Buisness administration) qualification
- Previous experience in delivering care to those who have been diagnosed with Mental Health Issues
- Experience in working within a multidisciplinary setting
Desirable
- Previous secretarial or NHS admin experience
- NVQ 4 in Social Care or equivalent
- Experience of the Trust’s computerised information systems (RiO, PAS & C-Cube)
