
Job summary
The NEL Community Therapy provides Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy to support people with health and social care needs to stay in their own home and help them remain independent. Community Therapy staff are employed by both Care Plus Group and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust working in partnership and provide direct clinical interventions through assessment of need and person centered goal planning. The range of interventions includes treatment, rehabilitation, minor and major housing adaptations, loan of equipment and moving and handling solutions for children and adults with a primary physical disability.

Apprentice Clerical Assistant
Community Therapy Team
Based: Cromwell Road Primary Care Centre
30 hours per week - Mon - Fri
National Minimum Wage dependent on age.
Apprenticeship course- Level 2 Administration Assistant
This apprenticeship standard is open to:
- Young people aged 16-21.
- Young people aged 22-24 who are care leavers, have an EHCP, or are prison leavers.
Duration - 12 months
Qualifications- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths is required (GCSE grade 4+/C+ or functional skills).
The post holder will work with supervision close by and within established procedures and will:
- Provide administrative support to the manager and clinical staff in providing Occupational and Physiotherapy Therapy assessment and intervention to physically disabled residents living in North East Lincolnshire thereby helping to maintain people's independence and improved health and wellbeing.
- Undertake routine clerical duties, e.g. photocopying, scanning, computer work, message taking, telephone enquiries.
