Job summary

We are looking for an individual to join our team to cover a period of planned leave. This post is for a 12 month period.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 2pm

Annual leave will be 4.4 weeks pro-rata

We are looking for someone who has the energy and skills to contribute to how we deliver care for the future

You will be eligible to join the NHS Pension Scheme

DBS and references will be required

Main duties of the job

Managing the Chronic Disease Recall System - a new system is being implemented

Patient registration administration

Processing of electronic medical records received - GP2GP

Summarising of information from paper medical records to the clinical database

Data entry from correspondence to records on the clinical database

Set up and run clinical searches and reports

Preparing copies of records for Subject Access Requests

Other administrative duties deemed suitable by the Practice Manager

About us

We are a team of 6 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Pharmacist and 5 Practice Nurses supported by a Management and administrative team.

Our main surgery is located just of the M4 corridor - Junction 34, in the village on Pontyclun, with a branch site in Llanharry. You will be based in Pontyclun Surgery.

Job responsibilities

As per the job description which you will find attached, your role will involve managing a chronic disease recall system, inputting information onto electronic medical records, other data entry and preparing information for patients and other member of the primary care team
