An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join the Administration Team, which supports the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team

The Older Adult CMHT is a busy and forward-thinking team.

Support and supervision will be provided for the successful candidate.

The post is for 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract.

The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager this is possible before applying. Applicants who are not employed by an NHS organisation, will receive a fixed term contract.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a polite telephone manner, knowledge and experience of using IT programs, such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word, SystmOne.

A significant part of the role will involve using Electronic Patient Records, complete typing and up-dating patient information.

There will also be a requirement to be front-of-house to cover Reception, where the successful applicant will be in direct contact with patients, professionals and visitors to the building and support other teams as and when needed.

  • RSA Word Processing/Typing Grade II or equivalent Typing qualification / demonstrable experience.
  • English Language – GCSE Grade C or equivalent

  • ECDL or equivalent IT qualification / demonstrable experience.
