Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust for an efficient and motivated Administration Secretary to join the South Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team. This post is for 22.5 hours per week, working days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We cannot offer full time hours for this role.

As a team, we support individuals with acute mental health needs requiring intensive input to remain in the community. The team also works collaboratively with our colleagues on the wards at Antelope House to help reduce the amount of time patients remain in hospital by offering support via hospital at home.

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will be to provide a quality telephone and administrative support service to the multidisciplinary team; you will be the first point of contact for service users, carers and professionals, therefore excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm is essential.

You will be required to produce clinical letters on behalf of our team practitioners and consultants (some of which may be required to be transcribed from our audio system), take minutes at monthly team meetings and perform a range of other general administration duties.
