An  opportunity has arisen for a full‑time, proactive, experienced, and people‑focused professional to join the Administration Management Team within the Carmarthen locality of the MH&LD Clinical Care Group.

With a proven ability to manage, support, and co‑ordinate a team, whilst promoting engagement, development, and high standards of performance, this key role offers the opportunity to make a real impact through strong, visible leadership and by contributing to service improvement across the Clinical Care Group.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for managing a varied workload, ensuring daily administrative tasks are prioritised effectively to maintain a high-quality service. This includes arranging and delivering Health Board system training, coordinating staff inductions, and keeping track of compliance with PADR targets and mandatory training requirements.

You will also oversee staff absences in line with policy, monitor administrative capacity, and lead all aspects of the recruitment process. In addition, the role involves arranging and chairing meetings on behalf of the MH&LD CCG Administration Manager, providing administrative support when needed, carrying out regular one-to-one supervision sessions, and managing monthly Welsh Government reporting. This post holder will also play a key role in overseeing and implementing service changes within the MH&LD CCG Administrative Department.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
