We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Administrator to join our Paramedic Emergency Service team within the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), supporting our operations across the Greater Manchester area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our Service Delivery Directorate, providing essential administrative support to senior leaders — including the Area Director, Head of Operations, Consultant Paramedic, and their wider teams. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to the public.

Main duties of the job

In this varied, fast paced role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership, coordinate diaries, meetings, documentation, and communication across the service. Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with information governance standards. Use Microsoft Office confidently and learn bespoke NHS systems, support colleagues across the team and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.

You will need exceptional organisational and administrative skills and be able to communicate clearly and confidently. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and be adept at learning new software systems and thrive in a busy, demanding environment.
