Applications are invited from friendly, caring and proactive individuals to join our busy and fast growing Northern Region Gender Dysphoria Service.
The post holders will provide a proactive, comprehensive administration service which will include handling telephone enquiries, covering reception and data entry, as well as general office duties which will include processing mail, scanning and typing.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to provide a professional and supportive admin provision within a busy Specialist Adult Service so high-level customer care skills are crucial to the success of this role. You will work alongside an experienced Admin Assistant to learn the role and the post holder should have:
- Experience of providing reception duties.
- Experience of call handling in a busy environment.
- Good organisational skills.
- Be able to prioritise a fluctuating workload.
- Proven experience of working with Microsoft packages.
- A working knowledge of electronic record systems.
- Excellent customer care.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills, as well as a working knowledge of office procedures including IT skills.
