We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to come and join our four units in our Merseyside Cluster. As the Admin Assistant you will be responsible for completing all administrative and client support tasks within the unit, supporting clients through their episode of care.

This unit-based role is working 30 hours per week flexibly over Monday to Friday, a rota is given in advance. Travel will be required to all 4 units on a weekly basis.

About You

You will have strong experience of working within an office environment, where you have carried out administration duties. You will be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.

Main duties of the job

  • Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and external colleagues, as necessary.
  • Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all relevant documentation is available for the clients episode of care.
  • Monitor, edit and amend appointment list, using as appropriate BPAS booking system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
  • Assist in the monitoring, control and ordering of stock, sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare and dispatch statistical information and reports.

We are also looking for:

  • Experience of dealing face to face with clients who may be angry or upset, within a care environment.
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation, telephone, and reception duties.
  • Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients and an effective team player.

Salary £24,484 - £27,583 per annum pro rata (£13.08 - £14.73ph). Depending on skills and experience.

Shift Pattern 30 hours per week - 4 x 7.5 hour shifts. To be worked flexibly across the 4 units over Monday to Friday.

Locations

BPAS Liverpool (L3 8JA) unit will be classed as your base unit, and mileage to the other units as part of your normal duties will be reimbursed at rate as determined by the BPAS Expenses policy in place at the time.
