The successful applicants will work alongside the current Breast Cancer CNS/ACP Teams across Poole and Bournemouth.

The role of this CNS is to support patients and their families throughout the adjuvant breast Pathway. This includes  ensuring timeliness of investigations and appointments  through the pathway with awareness of Cancer Waiting Time Targets, present at Breaking Bad News, offering support and information regarding diagnosis and treatment, being the patients advocate and advising on symptom management.

A large part of this role is to support and help coordinate the introduction of Ribociclib for adjuvant treatment for HR positive, HER2 negative early breast cancer in adults as recommended by NICE.

This Role includes working closely with members of the Breast Multidisciplinary Team, Primary and Tertiary Care as well as being able to work autonomously

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who is keen to make a difference in the care of those experiencing a life changing diagnosis.
