The post holder will be responsible for Infection Prevention and Control in the built environment providing advice to multidisciplinary teams on water safety, ventilation, capital projects, estates maintenance, interpretation of built environment chapters of the National Infection Control Manuals and SHTM’s. This will include interpretation of microbiological test data, advising on issues related to procurement and acting as a facilitator between clinical, IPCT and estate teams to provide a safe built environment for patient care.
The post holder will be working with diverse clinical teams and estates to develop and complete derogations documentation, patient susceptibility assessments and clinical mitigations within the built environment. Directly involved in corporate risk management of the environment.
