Main duties of the job
In this role, you will provide support, information, training, education and guidance to young people in relation to designated specialism. You will work to improve access to appropriate services for young clients, by identifying and assessing their needs and monitoring and evaluating all sessions and interventions to inform future planning and delivery interventions This role is offered on a casual basis, including some Saturday working and will work on site and in the community, therefore a full driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential. The role will run until March 2027. As a Young Person's Worker, we offer a casual rate of pay of £15.07 per hour.

Essential Skills This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced level DBS and barred lists check. We'll be excited to see the following in your application:
OCN/NVQ level 3 or equivalent or willing to achieve this within 12 months
Experience of working with young people and/or a qualification in substance misuse, mental health, psychology, nursing or youth work
Experience of completing assessments, risk assessments or care plans with young people
Excellent relationship building skills with a range of people from a wide variety of backgrounds, including liaising with professionals to support young people
The ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team, sharing your skills knowledge and experience
Good organisational skills to be able to manage your time effectively, prioritising your work and being able to cope with the pressure of competing demands
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including engaging delivery of presentations to large groups of young people
The ability to record and maintain accurate case details and in a timely manner
Effective IT skills and the ability to use different packages and digital media
