Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
- Work with the Screening Workforce Development Team (SWDT) to deliver and assess accredited supporting learning pathways in Public Health Wales (PHW) screening programmes to improve services and the organisation.
- They will support the delivery of the Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW) Clinical Induction, health screening diplomas, and support career development for HCSWs in all screening programmes.
- They will carry out administrative tasks to maintain and improve the quality of training and workforce development in the Screening Division.

Desirable
- Welsh Language Skills are desirable at level 1 in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh.
- Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner, occasionally in rural areas, to meet the needs of the service.
Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential
- Educated to level 4, preferably in a health and social care or education subject, or equivalent qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and skills (e.g., HNC, HND, Foundation Degree).
Desirable
- Vocational Achievement Assessment Qualification or Learning and Development or equivalent qualifications e.g. CAVA / Diploma in Learning and Development with evidence of current, recent practice.
- IT qualification or evidence of current, recent practice.
- Knowledge of vocational assessment process.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PHW Health Screening and its programmes.
