Main duties of the job
We are seeking Waking Night Support Workers to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals with complex support needs, including Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health conditions. You will be working at Furlong Close in Rowde, Devizes, supporting up to 38 residents across seven bungalows. This service enables individuals to live independently within their community. Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
Engaging- promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording- keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
