Vaccination Nurse

As a Registered Health Care Professional working in vaccinations, the post holder will deliver the immunisation programme for women during pregnancy.  This is a new service run from Birmingham Women’s Hospital and will be delivered across the Birmingham & Solihull area (Good Hope Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital, Sandwell General Hospital and Birmingham City Hospital). The post holder must be confident or be able to learn to administer IM injections, recognize anaphylaxis and administer treatment, which is key element of the role. The post holder will also be responsible for the promotion of health education in specific reference to maternal vaccinations.
