This is a fixed term appointment to the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is identified as an important part of its strategy to remain a preferred provider to local Health Authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups across a wide range of hospital services. Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be expected to:
Deliver quality Orthopaedic services effectively, regularly benchmarking service to improve practice.
Support the organisational aim of HHFT positively contributing to management and financial strategies.
Enhance and provide professional leadership within the Trauma and Orthopaedic department. Initiate and take part in regular clinical audit.
Have an active role in research within the department. Contribute to training and teaching of more junior doctors.
