Transplant Development Manager - Assessment and Recovery Centre

Job summary

The establishment of a national Assessment and Recovery Centre (ARC) service will extend equitable access to life-saving products and treatments to everyone that needs them and bridge the gap between shortage of organs available and demand.

You will contribute to life-saving work, where every day promises diversity and excitement managing critical programmes aimed at enhancing organ donation and transplantation services.

We are looking for a Transplant Development Manager to join us to support planning, leading and managing Assessment and Recovery Centre projects and activities that contribute to the achievement of NHSBT Strategy and Organ Donation and Transplant 2030: Meeting the Need strategy.

Main duties of the job

Your main role and responsibilities will include:

• OTDT Clinical Team Service Development
• Lead on patient experience and involvement
• Clinical Lead Utilisation co lead with Associate Director Organ Utilisation
• Deputise for Head of Transplant Development
