The Role
This role will be to manage the Education and Training Centre on a day-to-day basis. Also to co-ordinate, the administration associated with training activity.You will also provide secretarial and administrative work to the Training Team.
The working pattern for this role is Hours Between - 8.30am - 4.30pm
Please note this is a fixed term post for 9 months. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.
In this key role, you will:
- Providing a seamless service to all users of the Training Centre; allocating and recording room bookings; liaising with specialist trainers on room usage; providing information on information board on room usage; assisting users with equipment; ensuring training room is well equipped and to co-ordinate the issue and return of audio-visual equipment to all staff.
- Providing information and booking appropriate participants onto courses; producing high quality support material for trainers, e.g. visual aids, handouts, workbooks and ensuring the appropriate equipment is available and in good working order; organising appropriate catering for events when necessary.
- Liaising with several recruitment departments.
- Provide monthly activity reports to the Training Manager.
What You'll Bring:
- Educated to SVQ3 or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal/customer care skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and communication skills.
- Experience of setting up databases
A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
