As a Therapy Support Worker, you will be part of a multidisciplinary inpatient team, working closely with colleagues from health and social care to provide high-quality, person-centred support.
Working under the guidance of registered professionals, you will receive training to develop skills across a range of areas, including therapy interventions, nursing care, and medicines support. You will use these skills to help meet the individual needs of service users and support them in achieving their recovery goals.
You will observe and report any changes in a service user's wellbeing or progress and work with the wider team to review and update care plans as required.
Main duties of the job
- To carry out duties delegated and supervised by registered professionals.
- To assist in the delivery of high standards of health care and support patients within the community inpatient setting.
- Providing care to patients with deterioration in their health or function
- To implement therapy interventions and treatment plans, such as exercise programmes (group or individual), provision of mobility aid, measuring and fitting adaptive equipment, minor adaptions.

- Apply competency based treatment techniques/care to patients with a range of conditions under the supervision of a registered practitioner, following a prescribed treatment/care plan.
