We need highly motivated and suitably dedicated personnel for the available position as a Theatre Assistant working in Ysbyty Gwynedd Operating Theatres.
All new starters will be supported via the preceptorship programme that is available within the department.
The role is initially appointed at Band 2, with progression to Band 3 upon successful completion of in-house competencies. Candidates who can demonstrate existing theatre competence and meet the Band 3 requirements may be appointed directly to Band 3.
Main duties of the job
Providing support for the delivery of higher standard care to patients within the theatre complex. To work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the theatre, ensuring that patient care is non-discriminatory and non-prejudicial and of a high standard. To carry out tasks in accordance with unit policies and procedures.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
