This is a high‑impact, Trust‑wide role, responsible for shaping and delivering a safe, compliant, cost‑effective and resilient temporary staffing model that directly supports patient safety, workforce wellbeing and financial sustainability.

Main duties of the job
About the role
As the Trust’s senior lead for temporary staffing, you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Bank and Agency staffing across AFC staff groups
- Act as the Trust’s single point of accountability for performance, governance, quality and value for money
- Lead actions to reduce agency reliance and premium spend, while growing a strong, attractive staff bank
- Provide clear, credible assurance to senior leaders and governance forums
- Work collaboratively across HR, Finance, clinical services and system partners, including at ICS level
- Lead and support service redesign, transition and improvement activity in a dynamic environment
