Main duties of the job
To support the Technical Services Quality Systems team in maintaining and improving quality assurance processes for aseptic preparation, ensuring services remain safe, compliant, and efficient.
To contribute to the management of quality systems by assisting with documentation, including SOPs, change controls, deviations, risk assessments, and audit records in line with GMP and QAAPS standards.
To liaise with stakeholders to support quality activities, including equipment validation, environmental monitoring, and the safe release of unlicensed medicines within technical services.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To support the Technical Services Quality Systems team in the delivery and maintenance of robust quality assurance services across aseptic units, ensuring compliance with GMP, QAAPS and relevant regulatory standards.
To contribute to the management of the pharmaceutical quality system by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining key documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), change controls, deviations, and risk assessments in line with internal quality standards.
To act as a releasing officer for unlicensed medicines, ensuring appropriate checks are completed.
To support audit and inspection readiness by assisting with internal audits, contributing to external inspections, and implementing actions to maintain compliance within aseptic services.
To assist with validation and qualification activities for equipment and facilities, including maintaining validation documentation.
To support the administration and oversight of temperature monitoring systems and storage conditions, including responding to alarms, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring compliance with storage requirements.
To contribute to training and development within technical services by supporting unit staff training in quality systems processes.
