Main duties of the job
- Provide day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to the Psychological Therapies team, including correspondence, typing, filing, meetings and events.
- Manage clinic appointments, clinician diaries, referrals and waiting lists, including rearranging appointments when required.
- Handle confidential enquiries and referrals from service users, relatives, GPs and other professionals, providing appropriate information and signposting.
- Maintain accurate electronic records, databases and filing systems, producing reports and supporting audits, training and data collection.
- Provide wider team and service support, including ordering supplies, managing equipment, completing delegated administrative tasks and contributing to meetings and service improvement.
