Elm Tree is looking to recruit a Bank Support Worker to join the team. This is a Bank role.Elm Tree House is located in the town of Keynsham, near to Bristol. We offer residential support for eight males and females who are autistic or have a learning disability, including people who are deaf. Our service is in a suburban area, close to the countryside.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our resident wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As Bank Support Worker, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. Through own professional behaviour, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security and confidentiality standards.To undertake key working responsibility for individual service users, supporting the individual to plan goals and personal outcomes and ensure that these are comprehensively documented and reviewed. InnovationThe role holder should have a flexible and innovative approach to their work and be able to facilitate and support service users in decision making, promoting choice and involvement at all times. The role holder should present the service in a positive light and should be proactive in making suggestions for how to improve the service.
