Egerton Road is located in Bexhill-on-Sea, in East Sussex. It offers residential support and neuro-rehabilitation for 11 males and females with an acquired brain injury (ABI) or a progressive neurological condition (PNC). We are just a short walk from the town centre and seafront.Our team are dedicated in supporting our resident to return individuals back into the community, via a programme of slow-stream rehabilitation. Independence, socialisation within the local community and daily routines are all actively encouraged. Egerton Road is geared specifically to cater for adults with an ABI in a supportive, family-like environment set within a residential space.
What you'll be doing
- Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
- Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.
- Support service users in achieving their personal outcomes in the way they choose.
- Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.
- Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.
- Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.
