Working Part time : 15 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen  to join our forward thinking Supplies Services. You will form part of a team which provides an efficient stock replenishment service to the Wards and Departments, and ensures the smooth running of the Supplies Department which includes carrying out a significant amount of manual handling.

Main duties of the job

• To provide a full top up service to Wards and Departments using handheld computers and manual requisitions, making flexible adjustments depending on needs of the Trust
• To be able to plan and deliver own work schedule to an appropriate timescale
• To have the ability to work in all parts of Supplies
• To use the Trust Purchase and Supply System for all Supplies requirements, such as booking in deliveries, and using stock management system
• To deliver goods using safe manual handling processes
• To provide a service for ordering, receiving and put away of items within the Auto Dispensing Cabinets within the Trust

If a DBS is required for your role, you are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee applies which is payable to the DBS Service. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs will be deducted from their salary over the first three months of employment.​
