Job overview

This is a 24month developmental role under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (or other registered care professional dependent on setting). The Student Nurse Associate Apprentice (SNAA) will work towards progression into the post of a Registered Nurse Associate through successful completion of the Student Nurse Associate Apprenticeship programme. The apprentice will develop and maintain knowledge, skills and competencies related to the role of Nurse Associate within Lincolnshire Community & Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG) and through completion of the level 5 foundation degree apprenticeship with a Higher Education Institute (HEI) which includes working in a variety of clinical placements and delivery of person-centred care.

Training posts /bases will only be made available where a vacancy exists and can be accommodated within the ward establishment. All training posts will be identified centrally and agreed by the Director of Nursing in advance. As a result, successful candidates may be required to transfer to other wards or departments where the vacancies exist - these could be in either a community or hospital setting.

Candidates are asked to stress their preference of acute, community and location within their application. Although every effort will be made to try and match these; this cannot be guaranteed as posts will be dependent upon organisational need and availability.
