Job summary
Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is excited to host a Health Strategic Lead for Families First in Leeds.
This is a role that will work across all health partners to lead the delivery of the national children's reforms across Leeds and will work as part of a new tri-partite leadership team with Police and Children's Social Care.
Main duties of the job
Role Summary:
The postholder will provide strategic leadership for key reform priorities, including:
- Development of integrated Family Help services.
- Implementation of Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams (MACPT).
- Expansion of family-led decision making (e.g. Family Group Conferences).
- Championing kinship care.
The role requires strong clinical leadership, programme management, the ability to translate national policy into local practice, and effective cross-system collaboration across all health organisations in Leeds.
Who we are looking for:

- Significant clinical experience and senior leadership capability.
- Experience of leading complex change across systems.
- Strong analytical, communication and partnership-building skills.
- Commitment to tackling inequalities and co-production.
