Staff Nurse

22.5hrs. 11 months fixed term

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse, keen to develop new skills and looking for a new challenge? Then we would like to hear from you!We are recruiting for band 5 staff nurses to a busy 30 bedded ward. On Ward 5 we have Gyaecological patients, Orthopaedic rehab patients and patients under General Surgery.

The workload and patient groups are diverse and will provide opportunities to develop knowledge through on and off ward education. Full support is given with professional development and Dr Grays has an on-site Practice Education Team to support staff. We endeavor to provide a supportive learning environment with ongoing teaching opportunities for all staff.

You will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, who are all committed to delivering high quality, safe, person centered care.

Key Worker Housing Support

Moray Council are offering temporary accommodation for key workers moving to Moray to support recruitment in the public sector, including NHS roles. This opportunity is designed to help individuals who are unable to secure housing locally while starting their new job.

Applicants must be filling a public sector role such as NHS healthcare professionals eg Consultants, Nurses, Physiotherapists where local skills shortages exist.

You must be moving to Moray from outside the area and must be willing to accept a Short Scottish Secure Tenancy (SSST), which is a temporary housing arrangement.

Key worker points will be awarded based on employer confirmation of recruitment need, and housing will be provided for a minimum of six months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. This accommodation option allows applicants time to secure permanent housing while addressing local recruitment challenges.
